Ilm Journal
A private study tracker for students of Islamic knowledge. Here's what it actually looks like.
Everything in one glance
Open the app and see what matters today: the thing you were last working on, sitting right at the top, anything meeting today, and a quiet row of dots for the days you've studied this week.
A book, a class, a course. One kind of entry.
There's no separate form for a book versus a class. Give it a title, and it grows detail as you add it: name a teacher and it becomes a class, give it a lesson count and it becomes a course too.
Resume exactly where you stopped
Paste a YouTube link and note the timestamp. Tap it later and the video opens at that exact second. Longer courses get a lesson checklist, with a trail showing how far you've come.
Know exactly where you are
Set which surah you're on and how far into it, and the app holds the rest: a focus card, a searchable list of all 114 surahs, and a full record of everything you've added.
A rotation that never piles up
Say how much you revise at a time, in ayat, surahs, hizb, or juz. Miss a day and the same part is simply still waiting when you come back. No due dates, no backlog, no being behind.
Known courses, ready to go
Madinah Books 1 to 3, Bayna Yadayk, and more classical texts, already loaded with their real lesson counts, so you're not the one looking them up or counting them yourself.
3 study items free. The Quran pathway is £2.99 a month, or £24.99 a year.
Still in testing, not live yet.
